Former Arkansas, ECU RB Chase Hayden announces where he’ll finish his college career

Former Arkansas RB Chase Hayden had perhaps his best collegiate season as a true freshman in 2017 under then-head coach Bret Bielema.
Hayden played 2 more seasons at Arkansas under Chad Morris, but transferred to East Carolina for the 2020 season.
Now, though, he’s reuniting with his old coach. As you can see below, he announced via Twitter on Wednesday night that he’d be spending his final 2 seasons under Bielema at Illinois:
Blessed to be able to finish my last two years at the University of Illinois. Thank you @BretBielema for the opportunity, I am very grateful. Can’t wait to get to work. pic.twitter.com/anyHSwsC8S

Hayden amassed 616 rushing yards and 5 touchdowns during his time at Arkansas. This past season, he ran for 62 yards and had 1 reception for 31 yards as a member of ECU.
Will he be featured once again under Bielema at Illinois? We’ll find out starting next season, it seems.
