Sam Pittman already has his dream job coaching the Razorbacks so there isn’t much that could be on the Arkansas coach’s wish list this year.

That being said, if Pittman did have a wish list this Christmas, he likely got the thing he wanted the most as Arkansas senior linebacker Grant Morgan just announced plans to return to the team in 2021.

Morgan, a redshirt senior this season in Fayetteville, was recently named First-Team All-SEC by the league’s coaches after racking up 110 tackles (most in the SEC), along with a pick six interception, two sacks and five passes defended this fall.

Incredibly, Morgan had never started until this year.

And what a year it has been for the Razorback linebacker as he has been named a Burlsworth Trophy Semifinalist for his efforts on the field. Following his epic performance against Ole Miss, he had 19 tackles, a sack, and a pick six against the Rebels, Morgan was named co-SEC Defensive Player of the Week, Bronko Nagurski National Player of the Week and Chuck Bednarik Player of the Week.

Now he’s set to return to anchor Barry Odom’s defense in 2021 thanks to the NCAA giving all players a free season of eligibility in 2020. Seniors will not count against the 85-man scholarship limit, either, meaning this news is just an all-around bonus for the Razorbacks.

Can you tell how fired up Sam Pittman is following this news?
