The Razorbacks are changing things up yet again.

After flip-flopping between Ben Hicks and Nick Starkel all season long, the Razorbacks are mixing things up under center yet again. This time, however, Chad Morris is turning the keys to the offense to John Stephen Jones against Western Kentucky.

The Arkansas coach announced that news on Monday during his first media availability of the week. Morris also added that true freshman KJ Jefferson will also see the field against Western Kentucky.

In Jefferson’s first college action, which came last weekend against Mississippi State, the freshman marched the Razorbacks down the field and scored a touchdown on his first possession.

Upon making yet another change under center, Coach Morris explained the decision when asked about starting Jones.

“When you look at his prior performance when he stepped on the field the last two weeks, it’s not been too big for him,” Morris said.

Jones has appeared in five games during his college career throwing for less than 100 yards with one touchdown and one interception.

“I think he will do well, I’ve watched him since high school and he’s developed well,” Morris added.
