The Arkansas Board of Trustees met on Monday, going immediately into executive session staying there for three hours.

Afterward, they met with media members and said there were no votes taken and nothing newsworthy to report.

However, according to FootballScoop.com, the Razorbacks made a decision on who will be the school’s next athletic director to replace the fired Jeff Long. According to the report, Houston’s Hunter Yurachek will be the school’s new AD moving forward:

Yurachek has been the Houston AD since 2015, but has already overseen a head coaching change when Houston’s Tom Herman left for Texas.

Yurachek promoted OC Major Applewhite to head coach, but the Hogs will almost certainly bring in an outside hire for their current opening.

Whether or not Yurachek is actually the new Arkansas AD remains to be seen, but if the reports are true, then the Hogs can move on with their coaching search in the coming days.
