Report: Arkansas to use search firm to find next head coach
It is being reported that Arkansas has hired a search firm to help the Razorbacks find their next head coach.
The use of search firms in the hiring process is a practice that has been used by a number of teams in recent years. Ole Miss AD Ross Bjork recently revealed that he did use a search firm before hiring Matt Luke as the full-time coach of the Rebels.
On the other hand, some schools choose to not use a firm. Tennessee AD John Currie announced in his press conference after firing Butch Jones that he did not intend on using a search firm.
Using a firm does not guarantee a successful hire, but Arkansas fans will have to hope that the use of a firm will produce good results for the Razorbacks.

It will be interesting to see where Arkansas turns for its next coach, but Houston Nutt does believe the university will consider Auburn’s Gus Malzahn.
