Auburn fans surely missed Rod Bramblett’s voice on the radio Saturday, but there’s no doubt he was looking down.
Bramblett had some memorable calls during his Auburn career, and no doubt, he would have been going wild.
The Tigers had a comeback for the ages over Oregon Saturday night, and it was completed when freshman quarterback Bo Nix threw a 26-yard touchdown pass to receiver Seth Williams with nine seconds left to win the game. Auburn won 27-21.
Surely you’ve seen the game-winning touchdown replay many times by now, but perhaps you haven’t heard the new voice of the Auburn Tigers, Andy Burcham, calling it.
First iconic Auburn Football moment without Rod. And while it would have been awesome to hear him call it, Andy Burcham did phenomenal, and carries on the tradition. Well done, and War Eagle. pic.twitter.com/Gh0qaf4RNr

Instead of playing it safe, Gus Malzahn went for the jugular, and it paid off. Putting the ball in the freshman’s hands surely paid off for the Tigers.
We’re starting to like Gus Malzahn 2.0.
