Auburn is looking for another coach after it parted ways with Bryan Harsin. The potential names to replace him are some of the biggest in college football, and certainly household names around the SEC.

While the Opelika-Auburn News has come out with 22 candidates, nationally, the names often discussed are Liberty’s Hugh Freeze, and Jackson State’s Deion Sanders, along with Ole Miss’ Lane Kiffin. Other more dark-horse type names could be Matt Rhule, who was recently fired from the Carolina Panthers, or Dave Aranda of Baylor.

Freeze last week signed a contract extension at Liberty which would pay him $5 million per season for 8 years, ESPN reported. Meanwhile, in recent interviews with 60 Minutes and ESPN, Sanders has said he would listen about openings for Power 5 jobs, and he was most interested in how he could elevate the pay for his assistants.
