With Baylor transfer Jarrett Stidham as Auburn’s projected starter, veteran backup Sean White waiting in the wings, and the young, athletic, Malik Willis as third string, the Auburn Tigers have one of the best crops of quarterbacks in the SEC.
It makes sense, then, that sophomore QB Woody Barrett followed a recent SEC-wide trend and requested a transfer to find playing time.
On Sunday, he made his destination apparently official, posing for a photo with quarterbacks coach Micah Davis of Copiah-Lincoln Community College. Copiah-Lincoln is a smaller school Wesson, Mississippi, with an enrollment around 3,000 students.

Barrett is a former 4-star prospect who was rated the nation’s No. 6 dual-threat quarterback in the class of 2016, according to the 247Sports Composite.
