Bo Nix played in crazy games like Saturday’s back when he was balling for Auburn and Oregon.

Now, the former star college quarterback is in the NFL, and he’s pulling off dazzling throws in wild games again. On this day, he twice rallied the Denver Broncos in the fourth quarter with incredible touchdown passes to Marvin Mims Jr. that tied the crucial game against the Cincinnati Bengals both times.

With a playoff berth in the balance for the Broncos, Nix connected with Mims, a former star at Oklahoma, on a crazy 25-yard touchdown with just 8 seconds left that tied the game up in Cincinnati at 24-24 and got Denver into overtime.

It was merely the second beautiful connection from Nix to Mims in the fourth quarter alone. With 8:48 left in the fourth and the Broncos trailing 17-10, Nix fired a 51-yard touchdown strike to Mims to get Denver even.

After former LSU star Joe Burrow scored on a 1-yard TD run with 1:29 left to put the Bengals back in front, 24-17, Nix went back to work again. On the TD in the final seconds, Nix rolled right to avoid the Cincinnati rush and fired an off-balance throw to the end zone, where Mims fought off 2 Bengals defensive backs to haul in the touchdown.

The AFC teams fought deep into overtime, where Burrow ultimately saved the day for the Bengals with a game-winning touchdown to Tee Higgins. That means both Cincinnati and Denver will keep their playoff hopes alive for another day.
