Bo Nix surpasses Jayden Daniels in NFL's Offensive ROTY race, says ESPN analyst
Bo Nix has officially surpassed Jayden Daniels in the race for the title of NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in the eyes of many. That includes ESPN analyst Damien Woody.
“If we had a re-draft, Bo Nix would probably be the number one quarterback,” Woody said. “Over the last nine games, Bo Nix has 19 touchdowns to only 2 interceptions. Bo Nix is playing on schedule, he’s not taking negative plays, he’s athletic, he’s a guy who is able to move, able to run around.”
Daniels was at the forefront for a while and seemed to be even the runaway candidate, but at least temporarily, all of that has changed.
“Bo Nix is playing really, really good football right now. As much as we have been talking about Jayden Daniels for Offensive Rookie of the Year, Bo Nix has leapfrogged him for right now,” said Woody during Monday’s “Get Up.”

So far this season, Nix has completed just under 65% of his passes for 2,548 yards with 16 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. He has also been effective on the ground, showcasing the mobility and improvisation he was so commended for in the 2024 NFL Draft process.
The latest odds at DraftKings still reflect Daniels as the leader at -135 to win the Offensive ROTY award. However, Nix is not far behind as Daniels’ only real competition right now at +110, and be sure to get into the action with SDS’s Louisiana betting apps.
Nix will look to stay hot as he and the Broncos face the Cleveland Browns up next on the schedule on Dec. 2 at Mile High Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET.
Sky’s the limit for Bo.
