Deion Sanders artfully dodges question on vacant Auburn position

Deion Sanders has heard all about the Tigers. The Jackson State Tigers, at least.

On Tuesday, a local reporter asked Coach Prime a question about the recently vacated Auburn head coaching position. The Tigers fired head coach Bryan Harsin Monday, leaving many to wonder if Sanders could travel east for the job upgrade.

Sanders dodged the question masterfully.

We think the term Sanders was going for there was “Freudian Slip.” Either way, he knows what he is doing with this answer.

No coach would answer that question how the reporter hoped it would be answered. Sanders has built a strong team at Jackson State and has revolutionized the game for HBCU programs. Though it’s not the most attractive job in the world, he’s obviously happy with what he is building.

Now, does that mean he’s completely shut down any job offers? Probably not. All there is to do is wait and see if he can be swayed.
