Former Auburn LB Deshaun Davis lands with new NFL team's practice squad after being cut by Bengals
Former Auburn LB Deshaun Davis was chosen in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals.
However, he was a victim of the team’s roster cuts over the weekend, getting waived by the Bengals and becoming a free agent.
On Monday, the Jacksonville Jaguars announced that they had signed Davis to their practice squad for the upcoming season:
We have signed three more players to the practice squad:

Davis will be on the practice squad, but he’ll need to stay ready in case of an injury to anyone in the Jaguars’ linebacking corps.
It’ll be interest to see what sort of role he carves out for himself in Jacksonville this season, or if another team poaches him for their active roster.
