The Atlanta Falcons added some veteran experience to their linebacking corps on Thursday when they signed former Auburn standout Jeff Holland following a minicamp tryout.

Holland was originally signed by the Denver Broncos following the 2018 NFL Draft out of Auburn and has appeared in three career games. The Jacksonville, Florida., native has also spent time with Arizona, Buffalo, the Los Angeles Chargers and the Los Angeles Rams.

Holland, 25, hasn’t appeared in a regular-season game since his rookie season with the Broncos.

He signed with Denver in 2018 as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn and appeared in three games that season. Holland saw action on 43 defensive snaps and nine on special teams and made six tackles.

At Auburn in 2017, Holland had 43 tackles, 12 tackles for a loss, nine sacks and 22 QB hurries.
