Mosiah Nasili-Kite, Maryland transfer DL, commits to SEC program

Mosiah Nasili-Kite is headed to the SEC for his final season of college eligibility. The Maryland transfer defensive lineman has reportedly committed to play for Auburn.
Nasili-Kite, listed at 6-2, 310 pounds, pledged to Hugh Freeze’s program after arriving on The Plains Friday for a campus visit.

Nasili-Kite arrives at Auburn after 3 seasons at Maryland (2020-22). He played the 2019 season at Independence Community College.
Over 3 seasons, Nasili-Kite appeared in 27 games for the Terrapins. His most productive season came in 2021 when he recorded 37 tackles, including 7 for loss, 4 sacks and 2 passes defended.
This season, Nasili-Kite played in 12 games, logging 26 tackles, including 18 solo stops, 2.5 tackles for loss and a sack.
Freeze’s staff has been hot on the recruiting trail with recent commitments out of high school and the transfer portal.
