Tyler Scott, a 3-star cornerback out of Mableton, Georgia (Pebblebrook), took some time at the All-American Bowl to announce his plans to play in the SEC.

Scott is listed at 6-foot-1 and 195 pounds, and is ranked the No. 43 cornerback in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite, and the No. 47 player in the state of Georgia in the Class of 2023. He had a reported 39 offers and was recruited to Auburn by Zac Etheridge and Wesley McGriff.

Scott’s commitment lifted the Auburn class to No. 19 in the 247Sports Composite Team Rankings.

“Coach Crime, Coach Zac, Coach Ty (Holder), they’re the reason I committed for real,” he said, per 247Sports. “As soon as I met them it felt like home. I felt I was safe with them and they can get me to the next level. Just the way they talked to me for real, they really have love for their players and their recruits and they really take care of their recruits.”
