The depth of Auburn’s receiving corps has reportedly taken a big hit in terms of raw talent as Nate Craig-Myers has left Gus Malzahn’s team. The junior receiver informed Malzahn of his decision this week.

For his Auburn career, Craig-Myers recorded only 22 catches for 394 yards and four scores. This season, Craig-Myers caught only two passes for 39 yards after starting every game for the Tigers this season.

New of the transfer was first reported by Bryan Matthews of AuburnSports.com. Craig-Myers destination has not been reported at this time.

Craig-Meyers was rated as a four-star recruit and the No. 6 receiver in the nation coming out of Tampa Catholic High School in the 2016 recruiting cycle. He signed with Auburn over Alabama and North Carolina after being an Under Armour All-American in 2016.

Craig-Meyers appears to be the second offensive player to leave the Auburn program this week, as senior tight end Jalen Harris announced his intentions to leave the program on Wednesday.
