Report: Auburn sophomore linebacker enters NCAA transfer portal
Coming to Auburn as a freshman in 2018, 4-star LB Richard Jibunor played in 10 games for the Tigers.
In those 10 games, Jibunor recorded eight tackles (three for a loss) and two sacks. He also forced a fumble. However, despite those flashes of talent, Jibunor isn’t projected to be a starter this fall, since the Tigers are returning several key defenders.
Now, it seems Jibunor is going to explore other options, as AL.com’s Matt Zenitz reported on Saturday afternoon that Jibunor had entered the NCAA transfer portal:

This doesn’t mean he’s for sure leaving Auburn, but now other schools can contact him about transferring.
It’ll be interesting to see what he ends up doing, but it doesn’t seem he wants to sit behind Nick Coe, T.D. Moultry and others.
