Auburn’s defensive line already had an advantage entering Saturday’s game against Washington, but now, it’s even bigger.

Washington preseason All-American OT Trey Adams (6-foot-8, 316 pounds) will not play against the Tigers in the season opener, per the Seattle Times’ Adam Jude. Adams is out with a back injury. It’s likely that OG Luke Wattenberg slides over to replace Adams at LT.

Last season, Adams missed the final five games due to an ACL injury, and Wattenberg started in his place.
