The college football season is here, and that means weekly game predictions from FOX Sports personality Colin Cowherd.

On Friday, he revealed a new “spoiler alert” segment, where he is going to not only “predict,” but tell the listeners exactly what’s going to happen in a few of the weekend’s college football games. Friday, he featured one of the top games of Saturday, Auburn-Washington, in this new segment.

Cowherd explained the pros and cons of both Auburn and Washington. For the Tigers, he really likes quarterback Jarrett Stidham and the defensive front.

“In this game, I get an NFL quarterback, and Auburn’s defensive front-seven is a bunch of NFL dudes. It’s the best unit of both teams. And they are playing in Atlanta. This is an hour and a half from their campus.”

Cowherd argued the Huskies have a more complete team than the Tigers and a better coach in Chris Petersen, but he picked Auburn to win by a field goal.

“(Washington) is the most complete team of these two. But I get Auburn at home, I get an NFL quarterback, and I get an unbelievable front-seven.

“Spoiler alert! Auburn 27, Washington 24.”

It will be interesting to see how Cowherd does in this new segment, which appears to be somewhat of a parody of itself. Regardless, Auburn fans have to love one of his first predictions.
