Dabo Swinney becomes easy target for fans, media after bold Cheez-It Bowl outfit

Dabo Swinney is a proud Clemson coach, so when given the opportunity to dress in a full-on orange jogging suit as part of the promotional efforts for the Cheez-It Bowl, Swinney jumped at the chance.
But the bold head-to-toe outfit drew plenty of reaction from college football fans and media, as strong reactions poured in about the orange.
Clemson faces Iowa State in the bowl as both teams are trying to salvage disappointing seasons. The Cyclones are 7-5, but won’t have record-setting running back Breece Hall, who is planning to attend the game but wonโt play as he prepares for the NFL Draft.
Clemson opened the season at No. 3, but saw its six-year streak of reaching the College Football Playoff end.
Here’s a sampling of some of the reaction:

Dabo… If you’re going “ALL IN” on the outfit, you’ve got the resources to at least match your kicks.

There’s pretty much no “orange track suit dabo” tweet I’m not gonna smash the like button for this morning. Free clout for everyone. Let ’em rip.
