Mark Richt hired Ekeler in 2014 to complete his new-look defensive staff led by coordinator Jeremy Pruitt. Ekeler served as Nebraska’s linebackers coach under Bo Pelini from 2008-10 before taking the same title for two seasons at Indiana. In 2013, Ekeler coached Southern California’s linebackers.
