The Big Ten has issued its ruling after Sunday’s scuffle between Michigan and Wisconsin following the Badgers’ win.
Michigan coach Juwan Howard was handed a 5-game suspension by the school. The league also issued a $40,000 fine to Howard.
Additionally, 2 Michigan players — Moussa Diabate and Terrance Williams II — were suspended a game each. Wisconsin coach Greg Gard and Badger player Jahcobi Neath also received punishments. Here’s a breakdown of the penalties:
University of Michigan
- Head Coach Juwan Howard
- Coaching Suspension: Five games (remainder of the regular season)
- Fine: $40,000.00
- Student-Athlete Terrance Williams II
- Suspension: One game (effective immediately)
- Student-Athlete Moussa Diabate
- Suspension: One game (effective immediately)
University of Wisconsin
- Head Coach Greg Gard
- Fine: $10,000.00
- Student-Athlete Jahcobi Neath

Now, we’ll just have to wait and see if these 2 teams happen to play each other in the Big Ten Tournament in a couple of weeks. That would be an intense rematch!
