About Missouri Basketball
Missouri has a rich college basketball history that began long before the Tigers joined the SEC in 2014.
Missouri won numerous regular-season and conference titles as members of the Big 8 and Big 12 and qualified for the NCAA Tournament 16 times under Norm Stewart, the program’s winningest coach and member of the College Basketball Hall of Fame.
Stewart won 634 games in 32 seasons at Mizzou. No other Mizzou coach has won 200 games.
Mizzou also has had more than 10 Consensus All-Americans, led by Herb Bunker, a 3-time Consensus All-American.
Derrick Chievous is Mizzou’s career leading scorer with 2,580 points.
