One of the best names in college football has found a new home.
DeColdest Crawford announced via Twitter on Sunday that he was committing to Louisiana Tech.
The 6-0, 180-pound wide receiver is leaving Nebraska after one season. He also had formerly been committed to LSU as a member of the 2022 recruiting class.
The move will mark a return to his home state for Crawford, who is a native of Shreveport.
As a high school senior, Crawford was rated by the 247Sport Composite as the 69th-best wide receiver prospect in the country and the No. 23 overall player in Louisiana’s 2022 class.
Crawford was injured in fall camp and did not play for the Cornhuskers in 2022. But he garnered notoriety thanks to his name helping land him an NIL Deal with a Nebraska HVAC company
That is the best name in the history of football....move over Kovosiay Smoke, Peanut Whitehead, Bumper Pool and Natrone Means. Lol
What about Lemonjello and Orangejello Crosby?
He realized Nebraska was one of DeColdest places to play football
