Deion Sanders finally made his way back onto the Jackson State sidelines Saturday night as his program took on Southern. Sanders has been absent from JSU’s team due to complications from surgery to fix a foot injury.

Sanders was seen in a chair on the sideline.

However, Sanders couldn’t have like what immediately happened after Jackson State’s win over Southern. Following JSU’s 21-17 victory, in which his 2 sons had a huge part in, a brawl broke out at midfield. Things got a little chippy after the final knee was taken, and JSU’s players stormed the field. One player took the team’s flag and tried to plant it at midfield on Southern’s logo.

That’s when chaos broke out.

The Southwestern Athletic Conference issued a statement on the brawl, and the conference is looking into the matter.
