Ohio State is king of college football after dispatching Notre Dame Monday night in the College Football Playoff National Championship to win its first title since 2014. And Vegas says there are strong odds the Buckeyes repeat next season.

The Buckeyes and the Texas Longhorns will enter into the offseason as the favorites to win the 2025-26 CFP at most sports betting apps. Ryan Day’s Buckeyes are +450 to repeat as national champions again next season, via FanDuel. Texas, which will turn the page on Quinn Ewers and begin the much-anticipated Arch Manning era, is +650 to win the title.

Oregon is also +650 to win the title at FanDuel. The Ducks ended the 2024 regular season unbeaten, captured a Big Ten title and the No. 1 seed in the CFP, but were then knocked out in the quarterfinals by Ohio State.

Georgia (+700) and Penn State (+850) are the only other teams with odds of winning the title next season that are better than 10/1. Notre Dame is +1200 after advancing all the way to the title fight this season, though the Irish will notably lose quarterback Riley Leonard and safety Xavier Watts.

The Bulldogs were the betting favorites entering the 2024 and 2023 seasons. The preseason favorite has not won the national championship since Alabama in 2017.
