LSU may have received a bit of a break ahead of the Peach Bowl against Oklahoma when a report surfaced that the Sooners will be without Rhamondre Stevenson, Ronnie Perkins and Trejan Bridges.

The report came from Sooner Scoop, and hits the Sooners all over the field as they were on offense, defense and special teams.

Perkins, a sophomore, has 38 tackles on the season through 13 games, which is seventh on the team, including 13.5 tackles for loss, which is second on the team, and six sacks. The sack number leads OU.

Stevenson finished strong in the regular season, and had 50 yards on three carries against Oklahoma State, then the second-most carries of his season against Baylor in the Big 12 Championship with eight for 48 yards and a touchdown. Stevenson has six touchdowns and 515 yards this season.

Bridges, a freshman, was a 4-star receiver out of high school, but has played mostly on special teams.

At a press conference on Wednesday, OU coach Lincoln Riley said, “I’m aware of the report that’s out there. Unfortunately at this time, I cannot comment.”

The Peach Bowl is set for 4 p.m. ET on ESPN on Dec. 28.
