Best team in Florida? Fans roast No. 11 UCF following upset loss to unranked team

The No. 11 UCF Knights have looked like one of college football’s best teams this year.

The Knights have already knocked off Georgia Tech 49-21 and East Carolina 51-28. Following UCF’s win over Georgia Tech, Knights quarterback Dillon Gabriel fired at shot at Florida, saying, “We’re the best team in Florida.” He even doubled down on his comments, too.

Then, Saturday happened.

The unranked Tulsa Golden Hurricane knocked off UCF 34-26. That’s right, unranked Tulsa just ruined UCF’s parade, as the Knights looked like a team that could get some respect for the College Football Playoff. Meanwhile, the Florida Gators look like a Playoff contender and beat South Carolina Saturday 38-24.
