Dan Mullen admitted on Monday at his weekly press conference that Anthony Richardson was at 100 percent last week against Tennessee, but he was held out for precautionary purposes.

Mullen also said that Richardson was cleared to play, and was much-improved, and he went full speed for the first time on Friday. He was a little tight after doing some of those sprints, but should be 100 percent by Monday’s practice.

It appears Richardson will be more available this week when Florida travels to Kentucky.

“I’m definitely excited to get Anthony back,” fellow QB Emory Jones said. “He was mad last week because he thought he’d get in.”

Jones added that he told him that they need him to be at 100 percent. He makes defenses have to defend them differently and Jones is excited for it.

Richardson has missed the last 2 games for Florida, but this season is 6-for-11 passing for 192 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also has 11 carries for 275 yards and 2 touchdowns.
