Florida AD responds to report indicating Gators down to 3 candidates
Scott Stricklin did not waste any time responding to a report that Florida has narrowed its coaching search to three top candidates.
The Florida Gators AD took to Twitter to address the report with a special “Public Service Announcement” to fans.
The report that surfaced Thursday indicated that the Gators had narrowed their top three candidates to Bob Stoops, Chip Kelly, and Charlie Strong. Two of those three men do have ties to Florida while the other (Kelly) may be a good choice if Florida is looking to improve its offense.
It will be interesting to see how Gator nation responds to the report, but one fan made their feelings known right off the bat. Twitter user @ChrisATLprayer said they would stop being a Gators fan if any of these coaches were hired and went so far as to tag Stricklin in the tweet.
