Most college football fans have a love/hate relationship with UCF, who claim a part of the 2017 College Football National Championship. Count YouTube personality Scooter Magruder as part of the hate group.

While appearing on ESPN’s College Football Live, which was in Gainesville on Friday as part of GameDay being in town for the Florida-Auburn showdown on Saturday, Magruder claimed Florida as the “flagship” football program in the state.

Then when ESPN analyst David Pollack asked him how he would respond to someone who said UCF has won a national championship more recently than Florida, Magruder responded:

“To be honest, if I went to UCF, I would be doing the same thing. But I didn’t, I got into Florida, where we have actual national championships.”

Check out the hilarious exchange on video below:

UCF is ranked No. 18 in the country, but the Knights lost to Pitt a couple weeks ago, ruining any outside chance they had at the playoffs.

Florida has yet to appear in the College Football Playoffs too, but the Gators remain undefeated with the Auburn Tigers coming to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on Saturday. Florida is ranked No. 10 heading into this week and will surely rise the rankings should No. 7 Auburn fall in Gainesville.
