O’Cyrus Torrence and Mekhi Gardner are a pair of Louisiana players who reportedly entered the transfer portal, and may be ticketed for Gainesville to re-join their former coach, Billy Napier.

Torrence is a three-year starter on the offensive line and a two-time All-Sun Belt performer, while Mekhi Garner is a cornerback who received third-team All-Sun Belt honors, according to a report from Adam Rittenberg of ESPN.

Torrence is a 6-foot-5 and 335-pounder who played in 11 games this past season for Louisiana. He adjusted to playing tackle this season after he previously played guard. Torrence has also received some NFL Draft buzz even though he has 2 years of eligibility remaining if he chooses to use them.

Garner was Louisiana’s top cornerback this past season, and he made 31 tackles with 8 pass breakups this past season.
