Florida released its depth chart before the season opener on Thursday. The Gators are heading to Salt Lake City to take on Utah.

Fans will see how Florida adapts to the change in elevation at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Last season’s meeting was an incredible game. Utah drove all the way down the field on a last-minute fourth quarter drive and threw an interception in the redzone. Florida ended up winning 29-26.

Here is how Florida will be lining up for this year’s game courtesy of Scott Carter:

Graham Mertz will be playing in his first game as a Florida Gator. Mertz transferred in from Wisconsin during the offseason. Mertz brings a different element to the offense compared to a year ago. Anthony Richardson was more mobile, whereas Mertz is not known as a runner.

Former Arizona State wideout Ricky Pearsall will be returning to Rice-Eccles Stadium for the first time since transferring. Pearsall will be one of the starting receivers.

Montrell Johnson Jr. is once again starting at running back. Trevor Etienne should still split carries with Johnson, much like last season.

Florida has never lost to Utah in the history of both programs. The Gators will be looking to keep it that way on Thursday.
