Florida fans roast LSU baseball squad after rain cancellation
Though the Louisiana area is dealing with even more inclement weather causing problems that go beyond postponed sporting events, Florida fans were not quick to forget the noise the LSU football program made about last year’s game between the two schools.
Due to Hurricane Matthew, the game was postponed, but LSU and Florida couldn’t agree on a new date, which eventually led to the contest being moved from Gainesville to Baton Rouge, where the Gators still emerged with a win.
So, when the LSU baseball team announced on Friday night that it was postponing its season opener against Air Force due to severe weather, Florida fans had a heyday trolling the Tigers on Twitter:
The LSU baseball season opener against Air Force has been postponed due to severe weather in the area.

The responses to the tweet are almost entirely from Florida fans, the best of which can be seen below:
@LSUbaseball Maybe they can reschedule it , talk smack, cry and whine, get their way and then still lose.

It’s safe to say Florida fans will remember the Hurricane Matthew-related drama for a long time.
