The Florida Gators added their 10th verbal commitment for the class of 2022 when they landed a pledge from 3-star athlete Jamarrien Burt of Ocala, Florida (Forest).

Burt is rated the No. 66 athlete in the country, and No. 118th athlete in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite. He is 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds, and has a reported 13 offers.

Burt announced it on social media as he became the second cornerback to join the class. While he’s a two-way player in high school, Swamp247 reported that Burt was originally offered earlier in the process as a wide receiver, but plays both ways for his high school. He worked out in Gainesville this past week as a defensive back and was offered at that position. Burt joins Houston, Texas 4-star cornerback Julian Humphrey as the other defensive back commit in the 2022 class.

Florida’s class is ranked No. 9 in the SEC, and No. 22 in the country.
