The 2020 recruiting cycle has been a roller coaster ride for the Florida Gators, with players committing and others decommitting seemingly every week.

On Monday, the Gators lost another 2020 commitment, as 4-star CB Joel Williams has re-opened his recruitment.

As you can see below, Williams — a Baton Rouge native — said he needs more time to make sure his decision is the one that’s right for him.

Per the 247Sports composite, Williams is the No. 17 athlete in the class of 2020 and the No. 12 overall recruit from the state of Louisiana.

The Gators still have 13 players in their 2020 class, which currently ranks No. 7 in the nation and No. 4 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
