Florida has really built up its support staff around new head coach Billy Napier. That was something Napier made clear he wanted when he took the Gators’ job, and the school is living up to its end of the deal.
On Sunday, it was reported by Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports that the Gators were adding another experienced assistant to the off-field staff.
Per Zenitz’s tweet, Russ Callaway is expected to head to Gainesville for the 2022 season:

Callaway spent 2020 at LSU before heading to the NFL to serve on the New York Giants’ staff in 2021.
Callaway was an offensive coordinator at Samford for 5 years before his LSU stint. Prior to that, he was a member of Alabama’s coaching staff, working under then-DC Kirby Smart.
