Jayden Jackson is almost ready to make his final decision.
Jackson, a 4-star defensive lineman, shared Friday evening that he will announce his commitment on July 13. He also announced a group of 5 finalists: Miami, Florida, Oklahoma, Ohio State and Texas.

Jackson is a top prospect nationally. He’s the No. 433 overall player and the No. 45 player at his position in the class of 2024, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 65 player from the Sunshine State.
Jackson attends IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. However, he’s originally from Brownsburg, Indiana. He transferred to IMG Academy ahead of the 2022 season. Jackson is listed at 6-foot-2, 300 pounds.
He took an official visit to Gainesville back in June. He also visited his other 4 finalists earlier this summer.
Florida is already up to 17 commitments in the class of 2024. The group sits at No. 3 in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
