Florida QB Kyle Trask has certainly worked his way into the Heisman Trophy discussion with his hot start to the year.

Many analysts have Alabama QB Mac Jones atop their lists at the moment, but Trask’s 1,341 yards, 18 touchdowns and 2 interceptions through 4 games deserve some attention, too.

On Wednesday afternoon, Florida TE Kyle Pitts — a huge reason for Trask’s huge numbers — threw his support behind Trask for Heisman:

Pitts is also getting some Heisman buzz, but it will definitely be easier for a quarterback to win than a tight end.

Will Trask continue putting up video game numbers and become the Heisman front runner? We’ll see if he can continue his hot start against Georgia’s stout defense this weekend.
