Florida star tight end Kyle Pitts didn’t play Saturday in the 63-35 win over Arkansas.

Last week against Georgia, Pitts suffered a brutal hit by Lewis Cine, which knocked the tight end out of the game.

Dan Mullen revealed before Saturday’s game that Pitts wouldn’t play, and following the win over the Razorbacks, Mullen announced that Pitts had surgery on his nose.

Mullen also said that Pitts will miss next week’s game against Vanderbilt.

Pitts has recorded 24 catches for 414 yards and 8 touchdowns, and much throughout the season, Pitts has looked like the best player in the nation.
