Every team has a sideline turnover prop these days. Or at least it seems that way.

The Miami Hurricanes introduced the turnover chain in 2017 and it seems like every other team decided they needed something on the sideline, too. (Obviously not literally every team, but props are popping up left and right.)

Florida State introduced the widely-mocked turnover backpack this season. And you know things have gotten out of hand when there’s such a thing as a turnover chainsaw.

Florida, on the other hand, doesn’t have a special prop on the sidelines. But it’s the Gators leading the FBS with 14 takeaways. Florida’s football PR staff used this fact to troll the Noles and Canes in this week’s game notes.

In Dan Mullen’s first season as head coach, the Gators have generated 43 points off turnovers through four games. Last year, under Jim McElwain and interim coach Randy Shannon, Florida scored a total of 44 points off of turnovers.

Mullen’s squad is also second nationally in turnover margin on the season (+10).

The Gators will likely need to win the turnover battle against No. 23 Mississippi State in Week 5. The Bulldogs open as an 8.5-point favorite in Mullen’s return to Starkville, Miss. The game is set for a 6 p.m. ET kickoff on ESPN.
