Former Florida Gator WR and ex-NFL player Jabar Gaffney was arrested in Jacksonville Tuesday.

Joe Daraskevich with Jacksonville.com reports Gaffney is facing domestic battery charges.

Police responded to the home in the 700 block of Providence Island Court just after 9 a.m. to investigate an assault reported by Gaffney’s girlfriend, according to the arrest report.

Gaffney was arrested without incident after the police arrived.

Arrest Nation shared Gaffney’s mugshot on Twitter:

Gaffney played for Florida from 2000-20001 with fantastic numbers. He recorded 2,375 receiving yards and 27 TDs before going to the NFL.

Gaffney played 11 seasons in the NFL but never eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark in a season. He last played for the Miami Dolphins in 2012.
