ESPN recently named Tim Tebow the greatest quarterback in the history of college football. Despite that fact, Joel Klatt doesn’t appreciate people comparing Sam Ehlinger to the Florida legend.

That’s quite the hill to die on but the FOX Sports analyst is going there anyway.

In a recent segment, Klatt shares his disdain for those comparisons by touting the Texas quarterback’s ability to throw the ball — which he believes is significantly better than Tebow’s. While it’s easy to look at Tebow’s pro career and note he didn’t have the arm to succeed at that level, he did manage to complete 66.4 percent of his passes in Gainesville for 9,285 yards with 88 touchdowns and only 16 interceptions.

Ehlinger, on the other hand, has completed 63.7 percent of his passes for 6,444 yards with 51 touchdowns and 13 interceptions while competing in a league that doesn’t play defense.
