Subtle trolling? Florida names rare 'Ms. Two-Bits' for upcoming game against Kentucky
On Saturday, the Florida Gators will host the Kentucky Wildcats, looking to extend their incredible winning streak over Kentucky to 32 years.
Prior to home games, the Gators do a “Mr. Two Bits” cheer, and ever since the original Mr. Two Bits retired back in 2008, famous alumni have carried on the tradition.
On Saturday against the Wildcats, the Gators will have only their fourth-ever “Ms. Two Bits,” in the former of legendary gymnast Bridget Sloan:
Got a “Ms. Two Bits” this week for Kentucky and she’s a 31-time All-American, 3-time team national champ, 6-time individual national champ — and one of greatest athletes in #Gators history. Welcome back, @bridgetsloan! https://t.co/t6NM0GxjzY pic.twitter.com/MUW5kZP6GK

Interestingly, Sloan is a 31-time All-American, and the Gators just so happen to have beaten the Wildcats 31-straight times.
Is there a connection there? Chris Harry, who sent the tweet above, played coy:
Nice catch! https://t.co/xigdZIPUJh

If this is indeed a troll job by the Gators, it is very well played. It seems as if the connection is too strong for it to simply be a coincidence.
