The Georgia Bulldogs pulled in an outstanding haul during the early signing period, getting letters of intent from 20 players — six of whom are 5-star athletes and 12 4-star players.

That doesn’t leave much room for Kirby Smart’s staff as the 2018 National Signing Day approaches in February, so it comes as no surprise that a 3-star player decommitted from the school on Monday.

3-star 2018 S Aaron Brule announced his decision to decommit on Twitter, citing circumstances beyond his control:

He doesn’t elaborate on those circumstances, but it could very well be that the Bulldogs simply no longer have room for him.

That’s certainly a downside to recruiting, but it isn’t out of the ordinary.

However, Brule is the No. 30 safety in the class of 2018 and the No. 14 overall player from the state of Louisiana, according to the 247Sports composite, so he’ll likely find a new team soon.
