Don’t freak out yet, Georgia fans. This is just speculation at the moment, but it’s worth noting.
Tom Lemming, co-host of the Lemming Report on CBS Sports Network and editor of the Prep Football Magazine, had some interesting comments about Georgia quarterback Jacob Eason on Thursday.
Lemming said that he could see Eason transferring to Washington now that Jake Fromm appears to be the Bulldogs’ starting QB moving forward.
“Yes, by this time next year, he could be playing for the Huskies,” Lemming said.
Eason is from Lake Stevens, Washington.
Lemming, who apparently had dinner with the family before Eason signed with UGA, believes Eason’s father wanted the QB to stay closer to home.
Lemming also commented that he believed the staff would be more inclined to keep Fromm happy because he’s a Georgia prospect.
