Georgia just landed commitment No. 8 of the 2021 recruiting cycle as in-state linebacker Chaz Chambliss has announced his commitment to join Kirby Smart’s Bulldog program.

The 6-foot-2, 239-pound Carrollton High School standout is rated as a four-star prospect, the No. 18 outside linebacker in the country and a top 255 overall prospect in the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Chambliss commit to Georgia over scholarship offers from Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, Clemson, Florida State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, among many others.

Following Chambliss’ pledge to join the Georgia program, the Bulldogs now hold commitments from seven prospects rated as four-star prospects or better. With Chambliss now in the class, Georgia’s 2021 recruiting class ranks No. 16 nationally, up from No. 21 prior to his pledge to join the UGA program.
