Former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback D’Wan Mathis appears to be on the move again. According to Rivals’ OwlScoop.com, Mathis has entered the transfer portal again. Mathis had left Georgia for Temple after spending the first 2 seasons of his college football career at UGA (2019-20).

Mathis to the portal is not yet official, but Owl Scoop’s report states that according to several sources associated with the program say Mathis is in the process of putting in the paperwork to transfer.

This news comes after Jadan Blue, who is Temple’s second-leading all-time wide receiver, announced he was leaving the program also as a grad transfer after 4 seasons.

Mathis has started 7 games for the Owls, leading to a 2-5 record. During this year, Mathis has thrown for 1,223, 6 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions.

Freshman Justin Lynch has taken over for Mathis at quarterback.
