Georgia basketball is bringing a big man back home via the transfer portal.

On Saturday, Frank Anselem – a 6-foot-10 center out of Syracuse – revealed the Bulldogs as his transfer destination. He appeared in 32 games for the Orange during the 2021-22 season with 6 starts.

Anselem began his college career as a 3-star prospect and the No. 32 center nationally via the 2020 recruiting class. He is from Suwanee, Georgia and was the No. 20 prospect out of the state during the 2020 recruiting class.

Last season, Anselem averaged just over 14 minutes per game and contributed 2.6 points and 3.8 rebounds while also blocking half a shot per game. He had a big performance during the ACC Tournament with 9 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 blocks in a win over Florida State.

Hopefully Anselem fits in back at home and is able to contribute during the 2022-23 season.
