You don’t see this one every day.

Georgia football fell to Ole Miss on Saturday in a game that was mostly one-sided. The Rebels controlled the line of scrimmage and made life hell for Carson Beck from the jump, culminating in a 28-10 win for Lane Kiffin and Co.

But that’s not the story here. Following that loss – Georgia’s first to a non-Alabama team since 2020 – defensive back Jake Pope was caught on film appearing to celebrate with Ole Miss fans.

Now, we don’t know Pope’s relation to these fans and have yet to hear his side of things, but this is still fairly concerning behavior for a D1 college football player after such a massive loss. Check it out below:

It should be noted that Pope has not seen any action for Georgia since transferring from Alabama at the end of last season.

If this makes any Georgia fan mad, we wouldn’t blame you. The Bulldogs have now lost twice on the season and are in real danger of missing out on the College Football Playoff. Their upcoming battle against Tennessee could very well be an elimination game with how the rest of the SEC is shaking out.

The Bulldogs host the Volunteers next Saturday at 7:30 p.m. on ABC.
